Watches - another OCD problem

Don't get me wrong, it is a pretty pocket watch but almost 1300$ with a quartz movement?

Nice looking watch @FOXY .
There's a gentleman in Poland who makes wrist cases for pocket watches, if you want to wear it on a strap. The only trouble is that they get can quite large.
A couple of pictures for illustration. Bear in mind that I'm a bit bigger than average.
This is an LUC Tribute with a nearly 50 mm case.
And the Hermes In The Pocket, which is around 40 mm. This is a similar style to the Polish ones, albeit at a somewhat higher price point…

€495.00 No?
The one I saw must have been a limited edition or something. 495 is much more palatable

Man this is awesome!

Wow, an 8.6mm thick automatic? That sounds fantastic. I love flat watches. 35.5mm wide seems a bit small, even with the large face to case ratio. Great looking watch, though. I'd really like to see the entire Nomos line up in person, since I suspect they're even more impressive than the pictures can convey.

You are absolutely correct about being impressive in person. It might not wow the guy who bought a 47mm high polish Breitling just because some busty saleswoman told him to, but it will bring a smile to your face. Nomos cases are thin, elegant, strong, and hug the wrist well. Dials are clear, concise, and well finished. My watch is a joy to wind and keeps time to 4s a day. Hard to find a fault with this watch.
