I feel the same as Chris. I should get something cool out of it too lol
But…...Chris, do you think that THIS chick is willing to buy YOU that stuff.? Sure as hell doesnt sound that way to me.
-
Enjoyed both articles but especially the salon one. Really looking forward to reading more of your writing.
-
Just read the denim article. Enjoyed it old chap.
Cant believe the stupidity of people on the net. Reminds me why I rarely touch Facebook.
@Chris definitely has the right bloody idea.

Just spent the last 20 minutes skimming that Reddit section…...I think I'm over denim now and might start building scale models of Tanks or something that Reddit hasn't pissed on :-\

Eh, I suspect she'd set off my "RUN AWAY!" alarm looong before we got the the discussion of who's buying what.

Yeah, I don't really consider them part of what I think of as the denim community.
I know I'm not the only one either.
Every time I'm on there I feel the same way. -
I'm not really a fan of the article, and at first I didn't see it as satire since between sounding like a pretentious dick (the satire) there were some paragraphs that I'm pretty sure we're serious, making the whole thing seem like a serious piece.
But I wouldn't worry about what reddit says, that's maybe the wackest place on the entire internet and makes me embarrassed to like jeans.

holy sh!t @TrickHell that piece in Salon is more up my alley. gay dads & home depot trips mixed with depression & self awareness is the sh!t

Think this needs to be in favourite quotes, as is, out of context

No, no, no, that is in the perfect context @Snowy & @steelworker

Nice article and some great evo on the displayed Type I.
I can only agree
Serious thanks! -
@TrickHell:
Article I wrote about why I wear $400 jeans for Made Man. Yes, I kind of sound like a dick, but it's meant to be for comedic effect and / or clickbait trolling. IH mentioned.
Late to the party on this one but @TrickHell 's article is great. There is so much blatant sarcasm in the article that is lost on all the commenters. All the while he is making a good case for the pennies per use approach. It is hilarious how upset the commenters are, especially when they have never experienced the other side of the coin.
Can anyone think of someone they know personally who after buying a pair of premium denim has said, "you know, this just isn't for me. I think I'm going to go back to the pre-distressed $50 jeans". I know I can't

Fantastic article @TrickHell.. Comedic as well as serious too
