Sam Bears was an unbelievable shop. Rumored to have not been painted or anything for a long long long time and it looked it. It was like stepping back in time… I just love that sort of thing. If you're interested google it and there's a heap of pics inside before it shut down.
Snowy... I just might have to do mail order but I wouldn't mind looking at the 555's that Giles mentioned. They actually don't look too bad but I just don't want tight upstairs and my crack hanging out at the back when bent over that's all. Down the legs though they look OK and I'm pretty skinny these days down the thighs and calves. I'm just an old codger that wont change his ways that easily I think. My family reckons I'm stuck in the 70's but I feel I'm in slowly edging my way towards 1980.

I was wondering which fits you prefer in Levi's? I used to wear them back before I "upgraded" to IH so maybe I can help…

I once had a 7" spend some time in Bermuda, cause the guy who shipped it - from the USofA- only used the abbreviation "BE"…
Could have been worse. Might have gone to Belarus- or Belize.

Anyone who has the UHR denim, did you soak the jeans and then put them directly into the washing machine while still wet or did you soak the jeans, let them dry, and then wash them? Just curious I think the IH instructions imply to soak and then put directly into the washing machine without letting them dry first.
