Can't fault interlink. Got a text this morning at 08:15 telling me my order would be delivered between 11:55-12:55.
Just been delivered now. Works for me -

Excellent service. The fact that you can remotely track the package and also amend delivery is incredibly useful.
Plus the chap wasnt a miserable bastard. Unlike how the UPS man could be on occasion!

Many thanks for feedback so far, it reassures me that we were right to go ahead with the Interlink trial. I'm confident this will work well for the UK, am looking forward to feedback from some German customers on their Interlink/DPD deliveries which should start hitting today.
And FYI, we have no intention of discontinuing with UPS, they look after us extremely well and we strongly believe they are the best shipping solution for our "long-haul" deliveries and all of our imports.

I ordered the 634 Loombrakers yesterday and got the shipping notice from Interlink/DPD. I'm based in Germany.
First impression: obviously shipping will take one more day than with UPS in the past when ordering from IH UK.
I'm not very happy with the DPD solution, as this carrier proved to be the crappiest of them all in my area (Düsseldorf). All the others (DHL, UPS, Hermes) were able to drop all my parcels in the small shop that is in my house's first floor, while the DPD guys constantly ignored the notice at my post box to do so. They took the parcels back with them and just left me a notice. Every time it ended up with me driving to some depot (miles away) to pick up my parcels.
And not to mention DPD always needed almost twice the time to ship than DHL or UPS.So, after all my vote goes to UPS, even without any experience with ordering from IH UK via DPD. Please return to UPS!

Thanks, all - and keep the feedback coming - hopefully in a couple of weeks we'll have enough to make an informed decision on which shipper will be default for UK and for Germany, and whether we should trial Interlink/DPD in other countries.
We may even be able to offer a choice for those of you having a bromance with your local delivery guy!

OK, I'm taking back everything I said before. At least for this time DPD was awesome. Ordered Wednesday, delivered to Düsseldorf, Germany this morning. I could even change delivery adress to the store in my house's ground floor after receiving an email from them at about 08.00 this morning.
So for now I must say this was like UPS and so far the most satisfying business with DPD I had. Future will show if this was just luck or if DPD actually changed from one of the worst to a reliable carrier.

Received my order today by DPD. It was shipped on Tuesday, so they need one day longer to germany, than UPS.
DPD Live tracking is nice, but i´d prefer UPS, get my order one day earlier and this is better for my unpatience
Would be happy to have an option to choose between Interlink and UPS during the order.cheers,

Way forward is perhaps to choose either DPD or UPS as default and offer the other as alternative if we feel confident we could fulfil with minimal errors.
