The Strike Gold

Awesome, looks great. Let me know how they compare, been interested and tried to find the 12 oz rmc myself. Which one did you get?
-
Thanks, will do! I took the 12 oz. Ball Park…
-
I do also own the 12 oz Ballpark Hoodie and the SG. They're pretty identical in Terms of weight and warmth, but I prefer the Hood of the McCoy. The SG one is practically unusable.
-
@Max:
The SG one is practically unusable.
Really? Why?
-
Super narrow. When I put it on, it lifts the whole hoodie.
-
Yeah, SG hoodies have awful hoods, way too small, and the thickness of the fleece doubled over exacerbates it.
-
The hood issue is fixed on their pullovers. On the zips (I have no clue why) it would just fall off my head backwards.
Even with the strings drawn. Super annoying.

5109's

Nice fit. I can't wait to see some heavily faded examples of this denim.
-

Strike Gold 3105. Shot I my Iphone 6 so the pictures probably aren't showing as much contrast as in real life. I will try to take better pics later. Anyways, about 17 months of weekend wear and 6-7 machine washes. I really love the cut, texture, and color of the denim. My only gripe is that I don't really have any honeycomb fades. Maybe it's because the jeans have been washed too frequently?
-
xx05 is their straightleg cut. They might not be tight enough at the knee for heavy combs.
Washing them frequently is fine. Make for a more vintage look and fade -
Yeah but my 710xx (also in size 36) are even more loose around the knees and seem to be developing combs….Also, there are others who wear xx05 with nice honeycombs too...
-
Idk then man. I dont recall seeing your fit in either pair so i cant comment on whether one pair is slimmer through the knee then the other. I dont get heavy combs myself, its prob cuz i dont ride a bike in them tho lol
