Repair jeans
www.repairjeans.com/chain stiching (Union special) and all sort of crazy repairs and alterations. Plus the owner is a super friendly lad.
Best place ever for the french denim lover -
Luke Deverell of Darned and Dusted offers a darning service in London. Repairs are unlikely to be invisible, but add to the character of a garment.
There's an interview at Denim Hunters, and more photos on his Instagram feed.
I had a small patch done on my IHSH-33 the other day, and it's a tidy job. It's a different quality to someone like the Denim Doctor, but I like Luke's style.

The Netherlands:
Tenue de Nimes, Amsterdam, Elandsgracht and Haarlemerstraat. They do chainstitching (EUR 15,-) and repairs.
They did a very good job on hemming my 1955S.
Took them not more than an hour. -

Sorry @SKT just seeing this. My current vote goes to Williamsburg Garment Co. They don't have a srazy wait-list and will work on unwashed stuff for a fee. https://williamsburggarment.com/custom-made-jeans/shop/alterations/

@Filthy Man I’m so glad to hear that’s who you would recommend because I sent them some stuff a little bit after posting my initial question. I had them chainstitch some 666S-21’s and IHDR-502’s and they shipped them back to me yesterday. Should have them by the end of the week and I’ll report back. Puts my mind at ease knowing you’ve had a good experience with them.
