PSA: if your dog has water butt and then starts shitting blood, take it to the vet but you might not need to panic, grab the 95lb dog under your arm, run up four stories of stairs, yell at your wife "IGOTTATAKELIATOTHEVETSHESSHITTINGBLOODCALLMYBOSSBYEEEEEEEEEEE", run down four stories of stairs (still with 95lb dog under your arm), chuck her in the backseat of the car, go over the speed limit in your neighborhood by 55mph, cry just a little at the receptionist at the vets, only to find out she needs some antibiotics for Giardia.

@KEVINSTEED : Really like Dave! It's so good that you took care of him, and he does look as if he's giving a lot back. Sweet.

This is turning into a cat lovers indulgence! They look all perfectly adoptable, Pusskin and Tiger with a touch of Iron Heart in their glance, Mao is such a beauty, and Dave such a great feline personality.
Can't wait for my next catsitting stint, probably in a month…... -
Big Dave enjoying a rare cuddle, he's not affectionate cat in the world but when he is you should feel honoured!

I have fallen in love with Big Dave

@Madame:
I have fallen in love with Big Dave
He's a real character, he initially showed up on our wheelie bin about 4 years ago. I was initially determined not to let the Mrs feed him. He seemed to be on the wheelie bin 24/7. Eventually I caved and fed him but I was determined not to let him in the house, as we already had cats. When I saw him on the bin in the snow, that was it, he was in the house. Been there ever since. He is 16 and has three legs, one of the fronts is missing. We traced his original owners through the microchip and some detective work (they'd moved house and not changed the chip address) and they weren't bothered and happy to let us keep him. He's brilliant, really tolerant with my little girl who's 3 and a half.
You have great taste Madame Buttonfly!
