Macro Shots of Other Brands

Some not so macro detail shots of a few pieces from my collection. First one is a Flat Head "Braintwister" Houndstooth shirt, second is the Kapital Century Denim Jacket, and the last is a Rogue Territory Indigo Chambray Sashiko Western Shirt.
I'm a rookie photographer lacking the proper lens…. But they're something.

Sashiko fan eh? Good choices and nice pics.

thanks for the shots @4c , looks like some well made tees.
You gonna give them the 4c treatment with a write-up?

That's the way I feel about almost all the military repro brands' t-shirts.
I'm not normally that sensitive about stuff like this. It's history, it's happened and there's nothing we can do about it. But around 30,000 Japanese were killed and at least 7,000 US (the figures were so appalling that details of US losses were not published until years afterwards)….

Nice shirt, but personally there is no way I could wear anything that celebrated the deaths of 10's of 1,000's of Americans and Japanese…
Cheers G. Though it is worn in mourning, not celebration. This stuff is not taught in schools. Many people don't even know that we were in Vietnam in WWII. The more aware people my age are of the history of past wars the less likely it will be to see a repeat. That said, I've been learning that the t-shirt might be too special to wear as a regular t-shirt. Maybe it'll find it's way into a museum or something…
On a rather ironic note; the company was revived by a very nice Japanese gentleman who has a great appreciation for old American made clothing. So the shirt which was once made in time of war is now made in peaceful collaboration between US and Japan.
