Got some quick photos pre soak. Love the shirt. Great quality. My fingers are blue just from putting it on out of the box. It's quite heavy and could be used as a jacket or overshirt in cooler weather. The photos are not great because the shirt is so dark but I'd be happy to take a few more if anyone wants. Just for reference I am 6'2" and about 200lbs. I got the XL. I normally have issues with long sleeves not being long enough but that is not the case here. They are plenty long. They accidentally sent me the XXL first and it felt huge. The XL seems perfect and after a soak I imagine even better. Anyway that's enough rambling. Here are the photos.

@deanclean love to see post-soak pics.

@FurattoHeddo ill be soaking it today and hopefully get pictures up by this weekend. A freedom hating job gets in the way sometimes for yesterday and today I have just been wearing it raw out of the box because I really like the stiff twill feel (im sure there are plenty of jokes in there somewhere) More pictures to come.

Got some post soak pictures of garrison. I soaked for 10 minutes, hung for 30 minutes, then wore it wet while I cleaned the garage and took back my empties. Here is the result.

Nice! Great score @deanclean

Post soak it looks great! I'd be interested to know how before and after measurements. Looks like a good amount of shrinkage (that's what she said).
-
@deanclean - yes I saw the pre-soak and thanks for the post-soak pics - looks like it snugged up nicely….....
-
@BloodnThunder according to the MF website the length was to shrink by 3" everything else about an inch or less. I kind of thought it would shrink more so thats why i didnt soak it for too long and wore it while it dried so it would sort of stretch again and fit my body. The sleeves didnt necessarily shrink in length, but just the wrinkling of the material in arms as you bend them kind of bunches them up a bit. But all that said, after the whole process was done I think it ended up perfect. Wearing while it dried I think is the key. Later

very nice! I'm not too sold on the shirt for myself but the garrison jeans will definitely be on my legs soon.
oh and I'm counting down the seconds until the release of the midnight peacoat. i had the first release but it was massively oversized so i sold it after awhile

Shirt looks nice, wear it in good health!

@blugrass I just got that Appaloosa too. It's real nice eh?
-
First run of Appaloosa had one of the most perfect denims ever; the Lot A, but unfortunately sizing was so fucked with those, especially in bigger sizes, I ordered one first second I could and hadn't sold the very next day.
-
I may have gone overboard. I just ordered the garrison pants too. I think the wife will make them a 40th birthday present!
-
you mean the sizing didn't match what it said on the site, or the sizing was just goofy but correctly portrayed?? I saw the pic and it does look like a very handsome fabric.
When it got up to the bigger sizes (I needed a XXL since it ran a size small and then shrank) the length was INSANELY long, the gussets cut way too high, the chest too big but waist too narrow

Anybody out there have a Tripper? It's high on the want list.
