it looks damn nice! how tall are you man?
About 5'10.. Super skinny though >.>
hmm..im only about 5" 8…and about as skinny as you..small may even be too big for me
You could layer! Or maybe G could hook you up with an xs, do you know the sizing dimensions for it?
-
I actually just measured a jacket i have…and the measurements are pretty damn close to the small in the cordura..so I think I'd probably go for a small in this. Thanks for everything though G! You're extremely helpful and accommodating , and it's much appreciated.
oh and hope you have a great time in Japan! -
so question… im currently looking for an outdoors jacket for 20-40 F .... and im kind of wondering what people have to say (and with what layering, mind you)

Pretty cold.. So layering with this jacket? Or any Jacket in general? What comes to mind for me is Canada Goose, you can look them up on BIG's site if you want, but if you mean this jacket. Then wear a hoody underneath and move around a lot ;D. The 40- below though, you may want to go for Canada Goose, North face even.Your best bet is to probably look at "outdoor performance brands"

oh i meant 20 to POSITIVE 40… but yeah it was either this + softshell layers OR canada goose/feathered friends.

for sure farmer. If I end up buying one, beats should get a commission

Farmer - with ur kind of work I am sure you could use this jacket - a lot. I was seriously undecided about the whole Cordura thing - but - fit is really nice to wear a hoody or shirt underneath - and the material is extra heavy , and I bike literally every day no matter what the weather is like - and this feels a lot better than Hyvent or Goretex.
Oh - and for sizing - ur normal IH size is perfect, that isn't a jacket to be worn with nothing but a T

Cordura is a great compromise material - and I mean that positively - it may not be waterproof (like Goretex) or as elastic as Schoeller but it is very water resistant, breathable and very hard wearing. A great choice for this kind of jacket.
I'm afraid Hyvent wouldn't make my list for any reason tho'
