IHSH-32 Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
-
seriously- an OD vest would be insane.
Yep. Seconded.
Edited to un-derail: Folks lookin' good ITT. Carry on.

I received both colors today and everyone is right, these ROCK! The red is definitely "vintage"-ish… i get it now after holding it in person. HEAVY flannel, these are more like jackets! haha Very slim fitting in my typical size but G is right, i wouldnt suggest sizing up at all.
-
I would also suggest a L. But note that FH and IH have very different cuts. FH is larger in the shoulders and narrower in the stomach than IH.
-
I wear an L in IH and a 42 in FH.
I do wish that IH shirts were a little more tapered like FH though because i have a smaller waist

Flat Head dont work, if like me, you like the occasional beer…...............

Yeah, FH sizing is weird. I take a XL in IH but a 44 FH shirt don't quite fit me. FYI - FH is making a few shirts in size 46 this winter. The shoulders are 22 inches and the chest at 46 inches, but the body is quite slimmed. IMHO 46 inches chest should be at most 20 inches at the shoulder.
-
I also find the FH shoulders way too wide. It seems like the shirts are made for body builders.
IH has a much more forgiving cut and fits people with narrow shoulder (like myself) as well as those with beer bellies.

Looking at SE website, it says "0.5 inches everywhere", so shrinkage is minimal. When in doubt, cold/hand wash.
-
My didn't shrink at all when washed at 30deg.
In regards to shrinking, it doesn't matter if you hand or machine wash. It's the water temperature and drying temperature that's important.
-
I sometimes will use my washer on the spin cycle to get rid of some of the water out of my IH stuff so it'll dry faster, and I notice a little more shrinking than if I just let it drip
I suspect this has to do with the weight of the wet fabric stretching itself out on a hanger as it dries
