Same! Hot wash, hot dry. Still fit? Wear them. Don't fit anymore? You bought the wrong size.
Repeat.
I always wash my jeans when I get them home for the first time. Gets out any residual starch or other crap that may have accumulated in them before they made it into my hot little hands. I also like to wash them to verify that all the shrinking is done, so that I don't have any nasty surprises 3-6 months down the road.
Just a personal preference; I doubt it makes any objective difference.

Made the mistake of throwing these in dryer (inside out of course) and good grief what a mess:) Suppose you could throw them in with a garment bag? Got these in a 36 opposed to a 34 in my 666s21; wish they were closer to the latter but like others, I need 35.5 in waste and I'm sick of too damn tight jeans and they're now 35.75. Mostly wanted more taper in knee down. Ohh yeah, these f!&*ers are sick; just received the latest Gustin Zim loomstates and they are going back (ordered a while back). Planned on it anyway after jumping on the IH train, however, really surprised at how mediocre fabric wise compared to these IH. The amount of character these have combined with weight and darkness (with fade potential) is special. Favorite jeans by far.

Seeing as this thread needs more pics lol
Here are mine - had them for a year, but really only have begun wearing them consistently for the past 1-2 months.
Review points- the denim is hard to break in, but when it does, they get extremely comfy. At first they are super crispy like the 18oz denim, but now they are feeling more pliable and drape similar to the 21oz flagship. Still not as smooth or soft as the flagship, but getting there.
The indigo shade that these fade to are truly something special - super bright blue contrast - crazy to think how these fade in comparison to the more "dull" fades from other companies' LHT.
As far as stretch, I've finally gotten some stretch in the thigh and knee, but still seen very little stretch in the waist. Believe me, it's not from being stressed, lol, these suckers are pretty snug in the waist for me, but getting more comfy every time I wear them. They were 37.2 at the waist when I got them and now measure 37.5 (tagged size 38
Not much going on, but the new shades coming through are very promising. Hope you enjoy,

No problem @browniemcghee - can't wait to see how these progress over the next year or so.
Cheers,

Nice one @Appfaff, i've been meaning to get some pics of mine. I couldn't agree more about the way they fade with the electric blues coming through. The 19Ls are my favourite pair of IHs.

Awesome pics @JCMx800 . If I could justify another pair of jeans, this would be the pair. Please keep posting pics here guys. Appreciated.

Dropped some Eintopf on my pair so… In the washing-machine right now
How I wash em:
-
Turn inside out
-
MAKE EM WET. And when I say wet, I mean wet, they need some time to soke up the water. I do it under the shower (not only with jeans )
-
Put em into the washing machine.
-
Add a good amount of Samurai Thunder Soap, the soap works great!
-
Use a short program, 40C, low spin.
-
Put em out when the machine has finished. Hang dry.

Yeah, pretty much confirms what I already knew. This denim is one of the best, to my eye.

Thanks gents, it really is exceptional denim. I already had the 666 version but have got so fat that I had to size up in the 634s to have a pair that fitted! It'll be a happy day when i'm able to post in that thread…Will bung some more images up once they're back on my legs.
