IH-TL1 - Thrux Lawrence/Ironheart Ultra Stubborn Back Pack
-
Something worth pointing out is that the IH-TL1 is a great size for a carry-on here in Australia, and some budget European flights.
These airlines use the 105 cm bag size for domestic flights, which is a 48 cm x 34 cm x 23 cm / 19" x 13.5" x 9" box. The TL1 is 17" x 13.5" x 7.5", so you could slightly overfill, and still get away with it.

Bond the double duck to something beefy. Natural leather might look awesome with the double indigo duck.

This Back Pack as it is, is a beauty. I saw it when I was in Gosport in October, and couldn't leave without one.

Correct, the 21 and indeed the 25 are not really meaty enough, so we have to bond to a base fabric to give us the heft required…..
Two layer sounds nice. Any idea if the paraffin coated IH 22oz duck would work or perhaps even waxing 25oz denim for stiffness? Or maybe bonding heavy sateen or duck to ventile with burlap leather. The backpack looks great and experimenting with fabrics is exciting.

I've got a Defy Verbockel, which uses an 18 oz waxed canvas. I'd have thought that the IH fabrics would have been heavy duty enough.

We used 21oz to make a tote. @Madame Buttonfly uses it every day, but imo, it is too floppy….....
