IH-666SII - 18oz Indigo/Indigo Slim Cut Jean

It's really remarkable how soft these are and how fast they fade. They're like 25 oz xhs soft… without the girth. I really appreciate them. Thanks to G, H, and crew!

great shots & as always thanks for sharing

Thanks! @madmonday @thomas01 @den213 and @Peter
I am pretty happy with how they are progressing. Should have washed them earlier then I did. I was just so damn happy with the state they where in.
Will be fun seeing how they will look after the DWC is finished.
I am a bit unhappy with the cracking of the combs. I tend to get that on all my jeans for some reason. Even the ones I have washed regularly and often from the start.
I put some stitches in them to prevent the unravelling -
Hi @nizzel55 , great photos and I am always interested to see how your pair is progressing as I am about 3 months behind you. Out of interest why do you say you wish you had washed them earlier?
-
@babyknight maybe an early wash would result in getting less cracks at the combs. I tend to get it on all my jeans though. Even the ones I wash regularly. So I do not know.

Nizzle, great images (as always) and those jeans look amazing! I love watching this indigo/indigo denim evolve.

My experience with these indigo/indigos has been pretty substantial bleed over time. Which is as advertised. But I noticed in all of your pics – to go along with the badass fades -- some pretty badass boots, notably lacking in the indigo crease/streaks at the hem. How have you cared for your boots along the way?
Thanks for the many visual posts-
-
@Midgegante the jeans bled quite a lot in the beginning. My gloves got quite blue at some places. My shoes did also darken some. But now the jeans have stopped bleeding.
I like the stains from the jeans on my boots. They give character. The dark areas tend to blend in over time anyway.
I don't treat my shoes in any strange way. I give them some leather balm or oil once or sometimes twice a year. I have tried many different brands and products. My current favourite is saphir renovateur.
I have used a leather cleaner product once. It almost ended up in a catastrophe. After that experience I will never use any leather cleaner againSo just embrace the indigo
And thank you.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm encouraged, as I've been proceeding as you describe. I don't mind the indigo stains that much either and had a similar experience when trying to clean them, so I've resorted to simple reapplications of Venetian leather balm occasionally and that's it. It's helpful to compare notes, so thanks again – and keep the photos coming! Cheers-

very nice @nizzel55 . for sure these are my favorite photos, I think the natural light shows the denim perfectly.
