Like your gloves a lot, @Jordonf9, especially the fact that they are all so short and leave the wrist free. Cool. Are they lined or unlined? Impressive palette of colours, too!
-
All unlined. I use them for daily wear all year and on the bike mostly. All are deer skin(different weights) except for one that is sheepskin and one that is elkskin. I also have a pair of black that is really effective in this low 30 weather. Damascus is the brand, short cut.
I want to see who would take leather I sent them and make me gloves, I think Churchill will. I want some of the Vicenza veg tanned leather to be made into short wrist glove, they would age BEAUTIFULLY! Horsehide as well

5 of the gloves are deerskin
1 is elk
1 is….I think sheep and is ULTRA thing and grippy. Can use a smartphone like no problem and feel everything with them on. -

Thinking about getting some leather gloves. Any recommendations?I was looking at some of the Grifter ones.

The three pairs on the left, fight like another layer of skin. Nice, tight and I love them! The other ones are just a little looser than them, but still fit beautifully. They use thicker deerskin than the ones on the left.

After using water to break in my new FQHH jacket, I did the same to the only pair of gloves I didn't wear so far, my elk skin in tobacco. Now, they are my go to for thicker leather gloves and they match both of my favorite jackets!
Left after water break in and Bickmore 4, right from Churchill directly
Love the warm tone of the dye they used with this leather, warm, gritty and can see all that grain!

Finally ordered some Sullivans (Summit and Outseam).

Can anyone recommend a pair of fingerless gloves? Not the kind with the mitt that folds over top, just gloves with no fingers. All the ones I end up finding are pretty cheaply made and end up with holes quite quick. Any help would be great.

Kinoko store has (or at least did earlier in the week) some deadstock mil-spec ones that look decent.

Thanks for that Cutlass. I've never heard of that store before. Lots of cool stuff including the gloves

They have a great selection generally! Always find new random stuff there. They also have a pretty decent sale.
