One thing that I always appreciate is when people put detailed pics up of items, as it allows me to make a more informed purchase.
When I bought these, few people seemed to have them and detailed pics of how they evolve were few and far between.
I bought these as frankly, I love the overdyed denim as it is something a bit different. I also found these to be a bit more generous than the 36 in the normal 634 cut (something to do with the overdying process I believe).
The denim does evolve, but not in the traditional sense. You do get areas of lighter contrast, but nothing like the electric blue you get on a pair of raw denim.
These jeans are beautiful and understate in the flesh.
This pair has been subjected to:
- 100+ wears
- No soaks.
- 5 or 6 turns through the washing machine on 30 degrees, 1300 spin (the perils of having children).

^great pics!
i'd no experience w od prior to getting the s-b's. aside from the material being soo bhad ahss, i love that different lighting highlights either the navy or black as well as the dull and sheen of wear areas. i dont wear mine nearly as much as i should. primarily because 2ish months in on beating the xhs into submission!
i also find that when i do wear them, its with black shirts/shoes/boots. I had to buy brown shoes for work but next pr is cordivan which i think would look spot on with the s-b's. (correct me if this would be a pheauxpah.)

I have been rocking my pair the most out of my 3 IH. They are fading beautifully and taking the abuse except in the crotch. Definitely a weak point and will have to be darned maybe around a years worth of wearing.
I will someday soon take pictures then do my first soak or wash with post pics. Lovely blue hue compared to what they were fresh out of the bag

awesome pics @Cutlasshound and way to get some evo on them in a relatively short amount of time! I feel that I need more OD denim in my life… crossing my fingers for a good size chart for the 666-OD return!

Next few days I plan on soaking these jeans. They are my most worn pair of the 3 I have on rotation. Planning on a good soak and soft hand wash of specific areas that will trap a lot of dirt particles, the crotch being #1 as they are showing heavy wear compared to the rest.
What would you guys suggest for a good soak?
