Samurai Jeans

Hi there, Tilmann! Nice to see you around here, too. but…you're just in for the 1000 members competition, admit it.
-
Loyal SF fan here - has done nothing but treat me fantastically…
Haha, I was being sarcastic ::)
Although relatively low yield compared to SF and a tad less friendly compared to IH or mN, I think SF is quite entertaining, and useful for getting up to date on smaller, up-and-coming brands!I only visit the streetwear forum though…being stuck in shirt/tie/suit all day makes me not want to read about them after hours
Back on topic though, I would very much like to own this Samurai Auto-mobile Club cap:

Dude…you registered on October the 31th...I'm here for ages...JUNE! So I see your reason for being here
I have to admit that I haven't looked too much into Samurai's stuff besides their jeans.
-
Ok, point for you. But still, cool to have you round here.
-
Thx Flo!
Since there was talk about my fit guide some posts above, I thought why not x-posting it. There you go

Samurai S5000BK Size 34 Lot.12 (SDO)
pre soak (excuse the grandma-socks)
post soak
Measurements pre and post soak. Soaked once with light agitation by hand. Hottest tap water, maybe one hour in. Never had a pair of Samurai shrink that much!
waist: 34,5 / 32
front rise: 11,5 / 11
back rise: 14,75 / 14,25
thigh: 13 / 12
knee: 9,875 / 9,25
leg opening: 9,25 / 8,75
inseam: 38,5 / 35,75Never was that much into black denim but ah_long changed my mind
The contrast between the copper rivets and the black denim is so freaking nice. And a bonus pic. Some guys refered to "squid jizz"

It was just an hour or so. There was instantly a lot of dye and even more came as I moved the jeans in the water. But they turned out darker after the soak
-
You could have done an overdye in this soup.

Just saw that BIG has a Samurai model that is 24oz raw and FICKUNG 27oz post-wash… Anyone has this one?
The 24oz (regular) is stiff and a wee bit cardboard like, but OK. Nothing as spectacular as the SR from IH, but respectable nonetheless. But shit 27oz is amazing. Makes you wonder where the OZ-barrier is located… And where comfort is sacrificed.

Probably not the most comfortable jeans in the world to wear.. But that selvage color is awesome ::)
-
Agreed, the selvage looks great. b_f, why does this item still miss in your collection?
-
I wanted the RHT 24oz model but it's soldout everywhere. LHT doesn't appeal to me THAT much altough I'm really looking forward to the S500JX-LR.
And at some point, money is an issue -
…not when it comes to Samurai, right?
-
There is always a limit you shouldn't cross
