Circle A Brand

Wow that's in-tents

Yes he def does Mike..I love the idea of some guy making shit out of a small space with only his 2 hands & a sewing machine. Jack/Knife is another great small brand but a bit bigger than Russell is atm.

Liking his work, different but nice details…

Picked up my new Circle A Brand foundry cap at Russell's studio in Woodfin today. It's definitely my new fave. You can tell it's made from a vintage fabric–it has a rust mark inside, and a couple other spots in various places. I don't mind. Gives it character. The construction is top notch, and I got a perfect fit with the size medium.
His studio is amazing. So many old beautiful sewing machines that he's hunted down and gotten running. Very nice guy, too. Super down-to-earth. I'm definitely going to have to pick up some of his other pieces, too. He has a rack of stuff at the front showing off some of the stuff he's made, and fabrics, and it all looks killer.

Great post @sabergirl - I'm a big fan of Russell/Circle A and supported his kickstarter. He seems like the real deal. I have 2 of his caps, denim and brown canvas - love em both. Can't wait to see my kickstarter goods, the mechanic trousers and popover shirt.

Definitely show some pics of the mechanic trousers. That and the waist overalls seemed the most enticing for me at the time, but I didn't have enough capital to give to the kickstarter. I'm seriously in love with this cap, though. Been hunting for the perfect short brim, ad I found it.

Looks great!

I am pretty sure he made Derek Knobb's Squalor Harbor shirts. If this is the case, his work is amazingly good.
