The Flat Head

yeah, luckily I have a "thick" frame and need a 38 - im guessing in the 33 the leg opening is like 6.8 lol

Well I tried on the 3012's at Rivet & Hide tonight. Such a extreme taper it was really hard to imagine what the fit would be like after a soak and hem. I tried on a 33 which my normal size in jeans.
Also tried on a few western flannels. I found the body fitted nicely but the arms were massive.
That surprises me, not like you have little arms [emoji1320]
I looked at them, the flannels, when I was there a couple of weeks back. They look amazing, I was on a lunch break and picking up some 555, the black ones. With getting them hemmed, I didn't have the chance to try the shirts due to having to get back to work.
I've only ever had one TFH flannel, I picked up off eBay, it was amazing but too small. Flash ended up with it.
Seriously tempted though!

The 42 was a good fit on the arms but the chest was tight. Junior said they stretch with wear so maybe a 42 would work for me. But i would nervous about any shrink happening in the wash.
44 was spot on in the chest and body but yeah the arms were almost baggy.

SExTFHbsp lovely denim, I love these jeans, along with my 1001 and my 3002 [emoji16]

It took me YEARS to risk unsanforised denim (best thing I ever did) but I share the same worries on shrink.
It's a tricky one, although Jnr is usually spot on.

Spitfire, I'd check out the 3009
Also, you're talking about a size 42 flannel? It definitely won't stretch, or shrink though.
-
Yes the 42 in flannel.
3009 is the same denim as 3012 but more of a straight cut right? Will look into them more.
-
Yep, anything starting with 3 is the same denim. It's a straight tapered cut, kinda like the 633s.

Anyone here have any experience about 16oz denim used in 1002's?

7014w, courtesy of the awesome @Danny RnH. Lovely shirt and perfect service, as ever. Just hope it doesn't shrink any… fits just how I wanted right now.

excellent fit @el padre

Got my FH shortsleeve. It's awesome, made me realize again how great FH is. The fabric (selvage!) feels heavy and very substantial while being soft and breathy. More sturdy than my other FH shortsleeve. The weave and colour is awesome and I love the fit. I might take away some of the arm length by a tailor - what do you think?

I think that will work @Max Power . Good looking shirt too.
