Here's one of my favorite boot knives out there, the Zero Tolerance 150. It's designed by Tim Galyean, one of the most talented custom tactical knifemakers alive. At $150 MSRP, it's well within your price range, too.
Specs:
Steel: S30V stainless-steel
Handle: 3D machined, G-10 in matte black
Blade Length: 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm)
Closed Length: N/A
Overall Length: 7.5 in. (19.0 cm)
Weight: 3.6 oz. -
Just ordered this:
How fucking fresh is that???
Youtube Iain Sinclair Cardsharp
I like that design a lot! Is the blade made out of Kydex?
-
I'm pretty sure it's some cheap steel, like 420…the knife only cost $20
But the design is brilliant and it's really not a regular usage knife, more for like those times that I don't have a knife handy and I just need to cut something
I was going to recommend the same dagger. You really can't go wrong with Zero Tolerance

now if it didnt have that gaudy orange handle. oh but that blade!!!
-
oh wowwwwwwwwwwwwww that thing is wicked. i dont actually own any REAL knives because they can be hard to get away with being a student and all

Thank you, thank you…Yes you are right to WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW they are truly the blade of AWESOME. Indeed as you will learn awesome is all I do. Interestingly this one, the big one:

was infact used in my last film "Stagknight" and gently blunted to make it safe to be used, as they are so bloody sharp and so simply awesome the cast were too scared to pick them up; honestly you would have to pull a big fu*kin gun to step to them. The other the Sniper (seen above on my jeans) didn't get touched and is razor sharp, mint, both have belts and leg straps with kevlar sheaths and are perfect. I wonder if Giles might be interested in them; one as a hobby sharpening project and the other well, as a play thing in exchange for a bit of demin; say ooooooooo a type 111 and a pair of beatle busters (to help get the missus hooked on IH for xmas). What do we think people sound like a steal?
sorry beatle thong not inlcuded!
