@Bluegrass - that's what I thought too… until they arrived this past October. I had to Hot Wash them 3 times to make them fit. The MF charts are never right, sadly... I always add about .5-1.0" into consideration as I think they measure very relaxed, not with the fabric pulled taught. I too am tempted by the chinos, but alas, There are other items on my list, like the new Bosco Pants, upcoming Upa Upa Shirt and a Tokinoise (or Ranchero) shirt, the new 13oz Lot 74s and the Wheat Cowboy jacket. God I could go on forever with this stuff. IH and MFSC are my go tos for everything.
Anyways, my riders are 38 waist and I got them hemmed to 32 because the cuffs looked quite off on me - plus, when cuffed, the map pockets were right above the hem, so the cuff is super thick and just puffs out. That's why I had Indigo proof bring the pockets a bit above the hem - that way if I wear chucks or vans with them, I can flip up the hem without having to fold over the pockets.
I still have not been notified that they shipped, but I'm guessing they will arrive soon!

Thanks, I'm a "true" 38 so unless they measure ~40" pre-soak I worry, as most MF pants Ive owned shrink at least 2" if not more. I had to return the Okinawa Lot 64s - they'd have been jeggings on me after a soak.
I am going to be in LA next week, so I think I'll try on the
midnight and(sold out!) chino riders when I make my inevitable pilgrimage to MFHQ on Bevery Blvd. Among many other things. Actually I am quite scared of what damage I may do to my bank account. -
@Bluegrass haha I hear ya dude - I'd love to visit the store, especially if I had enough time to save up a bit to do some real damage!

Damnit, that hydrone blue Gabier jacket is a real beauty. Might have to get one this summer…

Bored waiting to get on the ferry to Vancouver island. I love the buttons and fabric on the Metis sportsman. Can't wait to see how they continue to ageSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Original issue Skivvy. Rocking it since 2013 and it's still white - which is a miracle for me haha

Thanks to that cool dude ^ I've had one of my own since 2014, and it is most definitely not white anymore. Decided to go the opposite end of the spectrum as @Appfaff and use it as a work shirt + undershirt for my button downs. Ive used it for many of my automotive adventures and its very nice how sturdy the fabric and construction are. Heres my most recent adventure with the skivvy.

Holy cow! Impressive!!! A bit of oxy clean and I'm sure it would by (sorta) white again!
Fun to see this stuff worn the way YOU want it to be worn!

As promised, here are my post hem fit pics of the Midnight Riders.
I shrunk these down to the smallest I could get them - they are definitely a bit more relaxed than the standard 13oz riders, but the "trouser" fit is a nice change. Waist was 40" raw, now measures a hair under 38, but the top block is surprisingly slim, even with the high rise.
Full hem with drape (32")
With small cuff:
Tight double hem cuff

@Appfaff Those look really great after the hem. Cant get enough of those map pockets.

@FormulaPfaff - they will look even better with a higher heeled boot
Who knows when that day will come though!
