Why don't they make shirts in this scarlet cotton flannel? Would be killer

I won one of these in the sale. It's entirely the wrong weather to wear in Australia at the moment, but the vest is surprisingly warm.
One downside of the design is that the Mandarin collar doesn't play well with shirt collars. You're probably best off wearing the vest over something like a Café Racer.
The denim is really stiff and stubborn. It's going to take a lot of wear, and probably a few bike crashes to break this baby in!

I just saw you marked em down…oh so temped....
I am surprised these didn't sell at all. I love the collar on these. Work way better than having a double collar when rocking over a L/S
-
Madness! Why aren't people picking these up, what are they thinking??
(says he who contemplates if he can justify another vest at the moment)

Indeeeeeeed! ^

So @Cutlasshound, what size are you getting? I think we're roughly the same size, but so far I can't decide if I'll use this vest over a shirt or over a jacket. ::)

Last time it was the First Zip, and now this vest.
Why is it that I seem to pick the cool IH pieces that no-one likes, and then get discounted?
As @Giles said, it's a cool piece, and should work well over a leather. It's still warm here (circa 30 degrees), so mine hasn't had any wear, but I reckon it'll be ideal as an extra layer when the temperatures drop. It also feels as though it's built like the proverbial brick outhouse, so should take some abuse.
So go and buy them! You know you want to, even if you already have a huge vest collection.
-
@BULLITT BEE mine is an XXL, and should fit over a jacket. I think @Cutlasshound takes the same size as me.
-
I would snag a M, but I need to get new handlebars, clutch cable and brake cables for my bike. They ain't cheap…

Lol Think I am an XL. That is on the basis that my superblack vest is an L and its a little bit small (but not by much at all). @Graeme is about a foot taller than me so the xxl may be a good shout (due to the lining) but it would no doubt be too long!

@Graeme is about 4 foot taller than me
