2016 Ultra Heavy Flannel Planned Release Schedule….
-
My thoughts exactly. If I was H I would be pretty pissed my normal size suddenly looked like that just to please a few long armed westerners…
-
FFS
- The arm is exactly the same length as the IHSH-20 and we got no shit about arm length on that. Indeed I have have a load of shit because recent iterations of the UHF have had shorter arms.
- The owner of the brand is making the longer armed version for the west. Like you, not all we make fits him, like you, he does not have to wear it if it does not
And, if indeed, we have fucked up, guess what? We'll revert…..

Yeah I was just going to point out that there are loads of IH shirts with sleeves that long in a size Large. Most of the ones that were just released have arms that long in a size L. As a matter of fact it looks to me as if the 127s were the odd ones because they came up shorter in the sleeves and length than a good majority of most IH shirts. IMO this is going back to the norm.

…....making the longer armed version for the west.
Does that mean Japan and Western releases of the same shirt on occassion? Could get messy, but would be a good solution (eg.special order the jp version where needed).
Fwiw, 26" arms on a large sounds great thanks. May even open the possibilities of workshirts for a change.

^^^Agreed. 26" in a large is nothing remotely outlandish compared with the majority of IH releases. There are plenty of past releases longer than that. I am personally pleased, but perhaps I am among the gorillas. I am sure everyone will get a length they prefer in time.

I need to discuss with Haraki, but this is my guess.
All IHUK initiated UHF's will have the longer (original) arm length (unless I decide that it was a mistake and revert to what is now the norm for UHF).
Any UHF that Haraki initiates as a general release will be made with what is now the norm for UHF.
The "I don't know" bit, is whether all UHF's not destined for Japan will have the longer arm length…

For the people that said 26" arm length is perfect on a L, consider this. The last few UHF's had a 26.4-26.7" in a XXXL. That isnt a real big jump in length for 3sizes larger then you wear. So maybe just the larger sizes actually need the length. I need at minimum 27" in a 3xl (after shrinkage).
Im glad that its being addressed. Hopefully it doesnt mess with the smaller sizes too much. Thanks H & G -
What weight is the crazy check?
