IH-817 - 16oz Deep Indigo Engineer Pants
-
Just got a pair of these in a 36" waist. I love these pants but would prefer to have them more tapered in the legs. Has anybody had success with a tailor on Iron Heart jeans in this regard? I don't care if the original thread color can't be used but I'm wondering if the 3 needle seam is re- sewable.

@georgeel how are your 817 evolving?
-
Yes, they are.
But veeery sloooowly (an in a very special way), even though I wear them 5/7 with absolute dedication.
Coming soon: photographic records.Something to look forward to!

– And here we are with the last edition...
I hope you're not disappointed, but these jeans really are a tough nut to crack. You cannot expect great contrast fadings, but only a slow solid, flat fading process.
I think I'm half way, my 817 are no longer new, but not yet broken in.
See ya at the next checkpoint! -
@soymilk69 Could you please post fit pictures? I am also planning to go for size 31. Also, what is your weight and height? How snug or roomy are these in the thighs? Thanks!

These look seriously dope @nemesisnow1200 Can anyone tell me if these run big? I've read the sizing chart and it doesn't seem that way.. Just curious if anyone has had them run bigger. I normally wear a 36 which is kinda looks but I'm curious if I can make a 34 work.

I might try these for work…..seeing that are slow fading and look kinda cool. @nemesisnow1200 how's that contrast stitching in real life ?
-
@Haddtoo 555 ,,the stitching is lively,,but doesnt overwhelm the pants at all,,,,given time it will blend in ,,cheers
