Coffee

Thanks. I'm now leaning toward the Lido 2. I've used my Hario Skerton for 19 months or so and I'm getting tired of the inconsistency. The Lido 2 is cheaper than the 3 and I can use the Hario for travel, if I ever start taking a coffee kit with on the road.

lol, it used to piss @grandmasterben off every time he saw it :). It's a 2012 ltd edition and came free with a pair of TFHxRJBxDHM jeans - got the last pair the store had too.

@Snowy, which BEAMS store did you get the BEAMS Japan mug from?
I called into the Shibuya store but they didn't have anything. Really hoping to get one for my younger bro.

@dylantbmayes hey. There's a Beams Japan store (that's it's name) behind Shinjuku JR Station. It's on the EAST side (take East exit for Lumue (sp), basically walk straight ahead 4 blocks and you're there. Also grab a 100 yen milk crepe from inside Shinjuku JR East on B1F (?) whilst you're there, on the Lumue side also.

@Snowy Yes the Lido 2 will be mine. I really like how easy it will be to get parts of I need them.
I love that Beams mug. I've searched around (unsuccessfully), do you know of anyway I can order one of those from the US?

^perfect timing [emoji3]

I had a feeling that might be the one!
Thanks Snowy!

@dylantbmayes Please post if you have any success in finding one. Or if you would be willing to proxy one for me [emoji3]

Hah @Snowy ! Yes that mug drove me crazy. Until I found my own actually I thought I bought the same one as you, but yours is different?!
I like mine better I'll post a pic later!

Haven't made it there yet but I plan to, @veloaudio.
Not sure if I'm the right guy to proxy off though… Shipping from Australia to USA is not cheap.

Bought some new beans… -
Finally got to try this [emoji1] Smooth, creamy, and refreshing. I wish I could find it locally.
My coffee supply was dead when we got home but I restocked it with some good stuff last night:
This would be the perfect Christmas morning coffee. Lots of cocoa but has some acidity on the finish. Not my favorite Sump coffee (it may be the 95* day we're having) but I like it.
