IHSH-154 - Organic Herringbone Cotton Work Shirts - Olive and Charcoal
-
Great news these are here.
Any known shrinkage with wash on these fabrics? Looks like I'd be either a large L or smaller XL, would prefer the shorter arms of the L though! Thanks.
Would like to know that too. L is borderline in the shoulders.

Like the additional photo of shirts with the top button undone ;).

Bummed that I missed the large charcoal. If anyone has a change of heart, please let me know. Guessing that no more will ever appear.

Will try the olive one…with 31°C outside the perfect time of year.

I prefer the workshirt optic in this fabric, gives it more of a military look.

Just got my olive 154 in, it's a lot more green in person compared to the photos online.
And it's a difficult shirt to capture the true color of as you can see in these photos!
That's not a bad thing, it's a really nice shade of olive. I'm always skeptical when it comes to wearing this color with my skin tone but I think I actually like this a lot on me. A bit heavy, but that could have to do with how stiff/crunchy it feels out of the blue bag. Might give it a soak to see if it softens up a little bit before wearing.
A little snug in the midsection, just a reminder that I should lose some weight. Better get on that.

@giles what would you suggest regarding possible further shrinkage?
-
@Max Power I don't know. I don't own one so have not put one through the wringer…..

@Max Power
I agree. That is a cracking fit in the shoulders and body, but the sleeves do look a tad too long.
Could you get away with any shrinkage in the body, to allow for shrinkage in the sleeves? -
Yes, I certainly could. Would have preferred the 22 " chest of the Large anyway, but then the shoulders would not have worked. I'll try to take a proper picture with Jeans outside. But I'm really not sure right now wether I can get used to the long sleeves.

Oh yes, you're right! That would be a great alternative (but an expensive one). In this case I might benefit from slightly baggy sleeves.
