@Anesthetist It's not for everyone I agree. I'd be interested to know the provenance of the design. I'm guessing it might be styled after something more Japanese, rather than in the fashion of western workwear. @Giles do you know?

I can see why you hesitated as it's a bit different. Reminds me a bit of some of the clothing in that late 60's TV show The Prisoner. Either way the combination of material and design works for me. It's good to have something a bit different in the wardrobe.

Thanks, @Anesthetist I enjoy it a lot. The fabric and design work well together and despite seeming a little óutre by western standards. it doesn't look that way when worn imo. The one and only negative is the hem which turns up after a couple of wears and looks untidy. A quick iron and it's good though.

I have no idea who bought the L that G brought over initially for me. They've got a fairly unique product, at least on this side of the world.

This vest/fabric is lovely + IH snaps buttons. Pattern is perfect! Hope Haraki-san will make more in maybe different color or style️

Border wars.  (And yes, I know this outfit is, objectively speaking, irretrievably wrong.  I just can't help lovin' it  :))
