IH-777S-14 - Super Slim Tapered 14oz Indigo Selvedge
-
i've found that a heavier denim will make a pair of jeans feel tighter than an identical fit in a lighter denim. if the measurements are exactly the same then the lighter denim might have a little extra room. it seems like H tweaks the cut for each denim to help with that. i could be totally wrong though.

just gave these guys a wash and the weave tightens up nicely. this is really great denim.
-
Any updates on the 666 cut in this denim?
-
Fingers crossed that I can find a pair with a similar fit to my 666-XHS, because this denim looks very promising.

Is this not anymore on sale? I could not find my size here in Germany! Since buying my first pair of Iron heart 555N, I love it. I would like to get another pair and I was leaning more towards the 777S and seems like I could not get it anywhere in Germany!

there is stock in all sizes in the web shop

My 777S-14's are getting a lot more wears now the weather has "warmed" up a bit in the recent months. I did ride with them a bit when it was colder but i generally stuck with something a bit heavier. They're starting to look good though… I've only washed them once though so it's really interesting to see my pair compared with Giles's 666S-14's.
They're my go to jeans right now so hopefully there will be some more pics on their way in the next few months.

The summer sale made me do it, pulled the trigger and got the last pair of size 36.

Any big dudes get these and wear with success? Wanting to
Add a slim cut in the 14oz in the future so keeping my eyes on these…Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn't call myself a big dude but I do lift (6', 176 lbs. 6-8% body fat range depending on time of year) so I've got some muscle and slim fits can be very difficult for me in the thigh measurements and rise. I've generally preferred straight/slim straight fits. With that being said I have a pair of these and I love them. The 777 cut is a great fit for me but what I did was ask the IH crew to send me the pair in my waist size with the largest thigh measurement and it worked out good. This is probably the slimmest fit I would want to go with and the front and rear rise are at the lowest I could get away with, but they still work great.
This 14oz is a great denim btw, just like most all of IH fabrics.

Thanks for the feedback @manufc10 - I may give them a shot when the time comes!

Interesting that you should say that. I was thinking exactly the same yesterday. I have been wearing my first sample pair (of the 666 cut) for about 15months. Unless I am in the tropics, I wear them everyday. I am hard on jeans, but the denim on these is standing up to abuse, better than any other denim I have have worn…..I have one bust constructional thread that I have not fixed (Sarina noticed it in May but I have not bothered to fix yet) and the warp has given up on some of the high abrasion spots (hidden rivets), but really, they are in amazing nick.....
-
Let's see some pics of them when you get a chance G.

Yes, please. I love my 14oz 666's, the denim is fantastic. I'd love to see pics of how they look with a lot of wear.

Here they are in June….

the wear in looks great on your pair @Giles. These are easily my most worn pair as well as I live in the low desert (Phoenix) and the weight works perfect. I love the heavier fabrics but in all reality I can't wear them as much as 16oz and below fabrics. I think I have roughly 2-3 months in mine, one wash, and although no real noteworthy fades to speak of, they are coming along very nicely and they are a great shade of Indigo.
I'm so glad you guys came out with these and I'm definitely looking forward to the overdye. I've already determined I'm getting a pair.
