BTW I invested in a handmade leather sleeve for mine. May not be the slickest or most practical protection for such a slim piece of machinery, but it does make me feel real…..................................Iron Heart.;)
I went for a leather manilla envelope style slip for my Air in homage to Mr Jobs Macworld 2008 "revel".

Finally went and got my eye glasses… so weirdddd. I can go back and get my renewed Driver's License too now. Yay (Couldnt pass the vision test... wearing the IHSH-32 did not help, much to my dismay)
Driving back to work i could see waaaaay off in the distance... actually read the street signs before i get to them rather than say "WHAT THE EFF I WAS SUPPOSED TO TURN BACK THERE!!!1!" though things kind of tilt along the edges as i look around. Makin me slightly ill but not too bad. Everyone says its normal and i'll get used to it. Man i hope so. She fitted them to my face but uhhh a couple hours later and they feel like they've bent back to their original position they're slightly loose on my face.
But... glasses... so weird. Well. I am 30 so i guess i held out as long as i could (same with losing my hair haha)

Quit whining, kiddo some of us have been wearing glasses all their lives…I got mine when I was 5, so over 40 yrs ago.

Yeah, I've been in glasses since kindergarten. Looong time; in fact, I don't really remember not having glasses.
And it's true- you will get used to the tilting thing, probably take about a week or so. Oh, and don't be shy about going back for readjustments on your fit. It usually takes a couple of tries to get them totally right. I need to get my current pair readjusted, in fact. Damn things slide down my nose continually.
