PF Flyers
-
Am in Seattle on a work trip so spend the weekend in Portland - great city - and tried on and bought my first ever pair of PF Flyers! Loved them in the shop!
Wore to dinner last night and got home to see that the heel logo had fallen off. Not so good. Then wore today and just got home to discover the other heel logo is missing.. 10 hours of wear and the build quality is obviously appallingly low [emoji24]
I can't take them back to Portland so PF have just lost a new and future customer.
Rant over!!! [emoji1]

Interesting. I've worn PF Flyers for years and never had the heel logo fall off. Sucks. Sorry about that, dude.

… the heel logo had fallen off.
Made in USA?
Like Chris, I've been wearing PF Flyers for years (approx 6+) and this has only ever happened on my Made in USA.

My MIJ are bombproof.
Would love to buy some white Made In USA lo-tops, but there are not any… -
Yep @dylantbmayes made in USA black and whites
-
I'll post my thoughts and pictures if my first PFs when I get them Saturday:) olive green and brown leather

Never liked the sole, but this combination looks pretty good!

I am a huge fan of PF Flyers but the Made in USA Centre Hi's are my least favourite.
The comfort and fit doesn't seem to compare to their general release (Made in China) or Made in Japan.
Much prefer a vulcanised sole over the DESMA injected one.

PF Flyers came out with some new sneakers that look a lot like the Superdenim exclusive ones from a few years back. Obviously not the same quality but not bad for $70.(free shipping at Zappos)

Decent substitute to the made in Japan 'All American' PF's… I like the new design shoe boxes they come in.
-
Think I might give these a try. I take a 10.5 in standard Chucks, 11 in the 70's Chucks. Any recommendation for sizing the PF's?
-
I wear US 9 in Con's, Vans and PF's.
-
I bought 11's and they're slightly on the small side, so I just ordered 11.5's.
-
11.5's fit nicely.
