Nine Lives

Both great jackets. I noticed on Self Edge's website they had added a brand placeholder for Nine Lives. Definitely looking forward to seeing what they bring in.

I know for certain that the women's jacket with sashiko gusset was made by Himel… the others I believe are made in Japan.

@Sam, @Red Devil, How's the sizing from Nine Lives? I can't find any info on their site.

We have nearly the entire collection of jackets, leather jackets, sweaters, thermals, and more at all Self Edge stores now. We'll be putting it all up online in about a week or so at the most.

Hey @EvilTwin
I can't speak for all of their collection but it was my impression that they're going for a tailored fit on more of their garments. I'm not a massive guy but my shoulders are broad and my arms are long and that varsity jacket fits me better than some of my Gieves and Hawkes suits. I did just put it on and start wearing it so i didn't look at the size but i'm pretty sure it was a medium and i have a 38-39 inch chest, 32-33 inch waist.Hope that helps.

Mine is a large and I am generally size 42, do you want me to take some specific measurements?

NINE LIVES LOOPWHEELED TSURIURAKE CREWNECK SWEATER - NATURAL/GRAY.
I bought this from Kiya a week ago and its hand's down one of the most comfortable crewneck sweaters I've ever owned. It's a size Large and I machine washed and dried it once to get the little bit of shrink out of it (they come un-rinsed) . Sorry for the lazy crap indoor pictures but theres a little bit of detail in there to get the idea.

This looks great!! How did you size on it? How heavy is it?

Thx, it's a large. It's not super heavy, maybe a little heavier than a IH henley. But it's super comfortable, you could wear it to bed, layer with it, or just rock it on its own.

Ordered the DMT Jacquard shirt from Self Edge. Excited to get my hands on a brand I'm not familiar with, and add something new into this seasons mix since Iron Heart and Mister Freedom have been dominating my purchases.

Awesome! I pulled the trigger on the orange/maroon DMT Fri morning and am excited for Monday's del.
Both the fabrics colorways look great from the few photos I could find. Looking forward to seeing what they did with the shoulder seam details, working with the 'raglan sleeves' idea.
-
Agreed. I also went with the orange and should have mine on Monday as well. Besides the fabric/weave itself the shoulders are what is most intriguing to me about this shirt.
-
Would love to see some fit pics on the DMT jacquard shirt. I am a little bit concerned about the "slim tailored fit", particularly in the mid-section area.
-
I'll have mine tomorrow and will try to get a fit pick and my impressions of the fit compared to IH shirts posted asap.
-
I'll let the photos do the talking…

Yeah, they killed it! Fun stuff on so many levels.
The shirt is fitted, but I dig the cut and think if you're used to IH's modern fit you'll be fine.
I wear a Large in IH's UHFs and a medium in many of their older shirts (13, 33, 85, etc) and went with a Large here. 5'11" 165lbs for reference.
The shoulder triangle seams, the hidden button on the sleeve placket, the fabric's reversal on the inside, and all the nuances I'm sure to yet discover…fun stuff indeed!
