Noice!!!

Gave my oxblood Iron Rangers a clean and oil as they were looking a bit beat up.
I'm always pleasantly surprised how well these boots takes oil.
I replaced the stock laces with leather laces and even gave them a bit of conditioner. Really liking the look.

They look magnificent!
In principal, I agree with Giles point that why spend $1000's to buy fairly exclusive clothing then put what's basically a high street brand on your feet.
However, I picked up my first pair cheap (classic moc toe with the foam wedge sole) after I'd started using Vibergs and Wesco's, so they were originally just beaters. . Despite this I've come to appreciate them as a well made pair of boots, that are comfy, robust and take a kicking and develop nicely.
I now fancy a pair of these Iron Rangers.

@neph93 - IR are a great silhouette and at a price you don't feel bad about beating to death.

My 8 year old Moc Toes (1907) have been sitting in my garage since wearing them to pull My buddy's four wheeler out of some mud a few months ago. I had sprayed them off with the hose before storing them on the rack, but they were still kinda gross. Figured it was time to bring them back for winter.

Hi,
This is my first post, so be gentle with me
I just got my pair of IR8115 9D and still breaking them in. At first this boots killing me, can't stand the pain around the ankles and around the toes, but with couple of days of intensive wear the IR is already softened and is comfy to wear.
A little bit of shot of it.

I've picked up my trusty 8151s from Red Wing Munich where they got Vibram soles instead of the usual crèpe soles.
Bought them nine years and as these are the third and probably last replacements, they needed to be a bit sturdier…
And I think the black soles and laces bring more focus on the leather. -
Any recommendations where to get my 875s resoled in NYC? Thinking of getting a mini lug put on them.

Happened upon these 2936's for cheap money.

Another successful Vibram swap on my Red Wing bump toes.

Thanks @spitfiredealer - I had the same guys put the same sole on my Moc toes and it took me a while to get used to the bulkiness. I asked them the carve the solve closer to the welt on these as they are "slimmer" boots and they did a very nice job. For 75 bucks, I think it's worth it. The Vibram soles are a lot softer and seem to stand up to concrete better than the stock RW Christy., although they are a lot thicker, so your boots feel taller ha.

Thanks! I thought they turned out well. I did like the vintage sole that original ally
Came on these but the Vibram will probably be more durable.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
