Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

There were….....

Haraki did not like it, so dropped it.....
-
… and came up later with the 12 oz., warp fading IHSH-81
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=4863.0...…IHSH-81 is being extincted - yes, I got a left field email :-[, the denim we used for the IHSH-81 was very unstable, so H decided to make a new denim
It will be replaced by the IHSH-85 which will be the same cut but made out of reactive dyed warp and weft…..

Unfortunately what you, me and Haraki think will be an instant classic, often isn't - this is a fickle game….I have been been being asked by customers for years to make a B-10, so we've made one and I think it really is an amazing jacket, it's pure functional beauty. How may have we sold? You got it - feckin none.
This is sad to hear. It may have to do with the N-1 competition - that's a steady classic that was released earlier; I wonder if the B10 would have done better if it was dropped earlier/at the same time.
IH outerwear is incredible, but obviously not cheap. I think it's very difficult for many to justify more than 1 expensive outerwear purchase a year, let alone multiple from the same company (along with heavy flannels and other mainstays during the fall). It's a sad reality, but with people (in general) spending less on clothing and more on electronics, etc., maybe it's time to scale back on the big ticket items?
That's hard for me to say considering my grail IH piece is still an OD, cinchless type I jacket, but I know the OD process is expensive.

I can't believe I've never asked this, but I can't be the only one missing this. At the same time, I suspect it's a non starter, but here goes:
Have you ever considered making a modern tapered cut with just a bit more room in thigh? I have multiple pairs of the 555 and 666 but they're either too big in the waist or a little too snug in the thigh. I'm sure I'm not the only guy with rugby player quads….

@neph93 - Have you tried the 633? For me, it was the winner. I know it's hard to break away from the IHUK infrastructure, but SE always does a good job of helping if needed.
-
I haven't mate. I'm aware of the cut and suspect it may be a winner for me but the two things stopping me are my dependence on IHUK measuring and your weird US sales taxes. Also the issue of returns. So yeah, the infrastructure. I've thought about asking someone here who lives startside but is familiar with IHUK proxy for me actually.

I'd be down to help - just let me know.

I'm in the same boat… either too wide waist measurements or thighs won't fit. I have a pair of 1955S that fit great, but they seem to be slow sellers so I'm guessing IH won't offer more fits for those of us with fatty thighs.
I've recently found a tailor in Copenhagen who's been doing good work repairing/modifying clothes for me. This might be the answer I've been looking for, because then I can buy "oversize" pants that'll fit my thighs and have the tailor reduce the waist.
