It is my favourite of the plaid flannels. Shame that people were put off by the fact that there was the issue with the fabric skewing. You really do not notice it at all in the flesh. The fabric, colour combo and construction are all top notch in the flesh.

Arguably my wife's favourite piece….

That never bothered me at all. It was more a case of that much pattern, while undeniably beautiful, felt outside of my comfort zone. I've gotten over that [emoji1]

The herringbone shirt is indeed great, in either tonal or contrast form.  I planned to get one when I went to Gosport, and as soon as I tried it on, I was hooked.  I think this is one of those shirts that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated (like most IH stuff, really).

I'm a big fan of herringbone shirts, and I'm always a bit mystified that they don't sell like heroin pancakes soaked in crack syrup.
