Time For a New Jeans Cut….
-
I'm very excited to get my hands on these! I was disappointed to hear the Beatle buster was gone but these are looking like they're going to be an even better fit
All of this.

All I wanted to say was that there are cuts that match the ideas for the cut and have an intact selvage line and that work very well, for my personal experience. Just as inspiration that it is possible to match both criteria.

It only seems fair to name them after the birthplace of their conception/inception/concoction/whatever
Introducing…
The "Gosport-01"
Although the 574 would be cool too. A little bit 1955, a little bit 777, a little bit 634
Anyways.. excited to see what the team has conjured for us!

This is what I am targetting for a tag 36:
36w
12" front rise
16.5" back rise
13.5" thigh
9.5" knee
8.5" hemEDIT - Measurements tweaked….
Sounds sweet!

Same here. The thigh measurement is my bugbear when buying pants, unfortunately. Due to this, the only feasible IH jeans for me at the moment are the 1955s, which do work decently, but the rise is pretty bonkers. I swear there are like 18 fly buttons. Well, not literally, but I've never undone the bottom one. It also has the effect of elevating the pockets so they feel short, even though they aren't. I'd love a 1955s cut in the leg with a lower rise.

There's jeans with larger thigh measurements, and then there's jeans which look like WW2 German officer trousers on everyone else but those with freaky big thighs
