@lee I love it, and have an extensive collection, but haven't bought any items since discovering IH and Full Count. I got out an oversized raw Type 1 jacket a couple of months ago and am wearing this over my raw Full Count Type 1 and type 2 jackets which are a smaller size than all my LVC jackets.

@lee I haven't got the 1915 vintage though I like the look of them. Peter at American Classics, Covent Garden used to give me discount in the 1999 to 2006 era when I was a regular customer there!

… many of us do have some LVC in their collection, myself very much included.

@Maynard:
@lee, there's already an LVC thread (on p12!) that hasn't been active in years. If LVC is your thing, I'd suggest you head over to the Superfuture or Denimbro forums, where the brand still gets plenty of attention and up to date discussion.
Although we do prefer existing threads be used we can easily merge threads if need be… like I just did.
We encourage all members to discuss WHATEVER they wish to discuss (minus a few things)...
What we don't like is members making other feel they are unwelcome.
@lee, I apologize if you feel your contribution is not important/ welcomed, that is certainly not the case.
Happy posting!

No problem at all, lee!
It's been some time since I've worn LVC so not too sure what they are like now.
Definitely served their purpose when first getting into workwear though.

Thanks, @dylantbmayes . You wrote precisely what I was thinking. Certainly, I've got a number of LVC items which would beat many of the FoTD contenders and there are very few (if any) of the classic ingredients of a great pair of jeans which LVC items lack - you can take them for granted. For my part all of my vast LVC collection are Made in the USA, many in Valencia Street and nearly all bought new, raw between 1999 and 2006 with some items bought since being 1996. What is a pity is that LVC restricted their waist/leg length combinations so undersizing can be difficult. This may be a deliberate attempt to create a desired look, which is a pity.

This is all a bit silly. I thought I was being helpful here pointing out the general lack of interest in LVC by the fact that the existing thread was languishing on p12 and that 2 other forums have far more active discussion on the brand, which I think is useful information for someone genuinely interested in LVC. Consequently, a moderator sent me a 'friendly reminder' not to be 'rude or sarcastic' and to remain 'polite and courteous'. Was my post rude or sarcastic, making anyone feel unwelcome? Does anyone really think that? Perhaps I'll get a genuine warning now for posting this!

I didn't think it was rude or sarcastic mate.

Nor did I think it was rude or sarcastic.

I think the only issue is that the mods are so keen to keep this forum "super friendly" they go over board sometimes…

Agreed all, by the way I'm not (in turn!) offended by the mail from the mod, just wondering if my sensitivity radar is off and I'm somehow upsetting people left, right and centre without being aware of it. I think you've helped clear that one up.
The End. Let's talk about LVC.

Speaking of LVC, it's not my style, but the new 70s inspired collection is pretty awesome. Not sure I could/would pull off any of the stylistic items, but they did a great job. I really felt it was all deadstock items with the coloring, patterns and materials.
Hope someone gets some of the kit and shows it off here with some white pique jeans and cuban heeled chelsea boots!
