Iron Heart Cowhide Type III, Deerskin Snap Shirt, & Winter Shirts
We saw a sample of an Iron Heart split steer cowhide Type III jacket earlier this year and could not wait until the production run was done so we could get these into our stores. These jackets are finally here and they look and feel just perfect. It's a modified Type III pattern with hand pockets done up in a super soft split cowhide. These are available in limited numbers at all of our stores.
We've been special ordering deerskin snap buttoned shirts for clients of ours for years through our various brands we carry but finally we're happy to have one in stock at our stores as a standard item. Iron Heart's version is made of Ezo deerskin in black with oversized Iron Heart copper snaps, an internal snap buttoned pocket, and is lined with black cotton twill.
Iron Heart has taken their popular ultra-heavy flannel and has done a run in solid burgundy and solid charcoal colors. These new ultra-heavy flannels are available in both a regular flannel version and a CPO overshirt version with hand pockets and oversized copper buttons.
All these items along with a full restock of jeans, vests, jackets, and more are available now at all of our stores.

John Lofgren Burgundy Chromexcel Engineer Boots & Champion Sneakers
Fresh from Japan we've just received a large shipment of boots and sneakers from John Lofgren.
First up we have Lofgen's popular engineer boot done in a dark burgundy chromexcel leather. This leather starts as a deep dark shade of burgundy and is sure to age well considering the chromexcel treatment it's gone through.
We've also received a new run of Champion sneakers, available now in three colors. There were only 100 of each color produced and the fabrics used are as special as the sneakers themselves. Many of our longtime clients purchased the first run of Champion sneakers and have been waiting for a new run to be made so we're happy they're finally here.

Buzz Rickson's version has a custom nylon outer and liner and is filled with 80% down and 20% feathers for extreme comfort in the cold.

Studio D'Artisan Nep Denim Jeans, Indigo Dyed Heavy Flannel, & Stoneware Mugs
We've just received a shipment of jeans, winter flannels, and stoneware mugs from Studio D'Artisan.
Their new Nep Denim Selvedge jeans are made of mixed length cotton staples to achieve a unique lightly nepped denim. We had this run produced exclusively for us without the crotch rivet, we feel this gives the front of the jean a cleaner look.
We love Studio D'Artisan's flannel shirts and this new one is quite special with the blue parts of the pattern being pure indigo dyed. Over time the blue with fade just like a pair of jeans with the pattern changing slightly as the indigo fades away.
We've also received a small number of their new stoneware mugs with an original shape and branded with SDA's artwork all around. These are available now in three colors.

Iron Heart 633s-OD Overdyed Straight Tapered Jean & 666s-PD Currency Denim Jeans
One of the most unique things which Iron Heart was doing ten years ago was overdying their heavy weight denim. They were able to create a super unique fabric by taking their denim and garment dying it in black pigment dye, the polyester core stitching wouldn't take the dye color so you still got a little bit of contrast from the constructional stitching. Over the years some of the best examples of worn in jeans we've seen have been from Iron Heart's overdyed range. We're happy to announce that we are releasing a new version using their 18 ounce denim as the base denim cut into their very popular straight tapered 633 fit.
We've also received Iron Heart's new 666s-PD jean. With this new denim they’ve taken the warp yarn from their 18oz denim and woven it with a weft yarn made of Japanese Yen currency pulp. These jeans are literally made of cash money. The reasoning behind this is that currency pulp is stronger than cotton so while the warp is made of the cotton yarn used for their 18oz denim jeans the weft is a super light weight currency pulp that’s been spun into yarn, in the end the denim clocks in at 14oz per square yard. What you have is a lighter weight (especially for Iron Heart) denim that is super strong due to the currency pulp weft.
Both of these jeans are available now in small numbers at all of our stores.

oh good god…the 633 overdyed 18oz looks fantastic.

Was thinking the same thing. I'm a sucker for OD

I'm curious which 18 oz of the IH lineup was used.
The base 18oz denim is from the 666s: http://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=678
Because of how much the overdye process shrinks the fabric it's nice to start with something with a more abrasive hand-feel so that when the denim is overdyed you're left with something that still has some weave unevenness to it.
