IHSH-127-V2 - Ultra Heavy Buffalo Check Westerns
-
@Max Power My size L 127 V1 came out of washer measuring P2P 22.5 (after a line dry) and with a warm iron it's currently at 22.8 FYI, i have gotten significant sizing increases with it.

My vote goes for the Large.

(Now in the correct thread)
I just picked up a green from SE. So soft. I'm glad to have a UHF in my rotation again. -
Went to Statement this afternoon, "just looking".
This is what came out. I simply love how the UHFs feel and the red colour is absolutely awesome!
The sleeves are a lil bit to long but after one wash it will fit perfectly!Sent via iPhone while wearing Iron Heart

Love the Green:

Exactly. I love the new sleeve length too. All my shirts became a tad shorter with frequent washing so a little bit more length in the beginning doesn't bother me at all. Looks fine!

Red coming my way

I'd read somewhere on the forum, but can't find it now that @Giles was going to attempt shrinking the sleeves only.
Was this done successfully?

^ Thanks!

What kind of allowances do you guys tend to consider when choosing a size for this shirt?
I've noticed Giles opts for a XL over his usual L. Why for this shirt and the other UHFs?
I'm a chest 41.5
The L size almost seems like a bastard child but it's there and I'm not sure if I should go L or XL.

Sometimes it's just one variation in measurement that means G has to size up, and that variation may not be an issue for you. I think these came up slightly shorter than other shirts for example.
I check chest, then length, then shoulders. Generally I can go 57-59cm in chest, 75-79cm in length and 48-50cm in the shoulders. Anything outside of those parameters is likely to irk me in some way.

Probably has to do with the "internal volume" if there is such a thing. The fabric of the UHF is thicker, making the internal dimensions of the the shirt a tad bit smaller / tighter…

I can wear an L, but I prefer a looser fit on the UHF's as a general rule, plus I have a little leeway if I manage to shrink it….

same here but I also factor in sleeve length. I have a 38" chest so my range is about 22" to 22.5" chest for a size large. Giles is a few inches taller than me and maybe 10 lbs heavier so I can see why he'd need an xl in a lot of the UHF's. Some people size up and some don't.

Took mine on vacation because it was gonna be cooler weather.
Went to Iceland and greenland. Here's a picture taken in a small village in Greenland[emoji41] amazing trip and the 127 felt at home.
