Random Rants

@Filthy25ozJunkie I can relate a bit in my experience with the one Left Field button up shirt I own. I bought one of their work shirts which I have always been a fan of because of the design and details. I received the shirt and the fit was great but there were a number of small stitching imperfections and other aspects that made the shirt just kind of feel like it was put together in a hurry. All in all I am still happy with the shirt and a fan of the brand but will always hesitate before buying another shirt for the above reasons.

I got a pair of their sweatpants and they were just okay. But, after my experience with them I'll never buy anything from them again. Their communication is poor, and they've had my return for several days now and still no refund. I'm giving them a full week before I file a claim against them on PayPal.
I guess I'm kind of spoiled because of how nice the clothes and service here at Iron Heart. Not everyone is as customer focused as they are! @BloodnThunder

@TrickHell how long did it take for you to get your money back?
Like I was saying the sweatpants were okay. I don't wear then too much anymore because the cuffs don't have very good elastic in them and the fall down over my heels. The material is thick and warm which I like. But are covered with pills and are kind of itchy. I wear them like long underwear now when I have to work in the cold.

Fair enough. Thanks man.
Edit: I received a refund. No shipping refund though.

Selling stuff on Grailed is awful. Lowball offers left and right. Might just stick to the forum from now on.
True. My favorite is when a buyer sends you an offer, you accept, and you never hear from them again.
Had a guy offer me $25 including shipping for a shirt a few weeks ago. I accepted because I just want to get rid of it. Two weeks later he hasn't paid so I ask him if he is going to pay so I can get it shipped out to him. His response was that he was waiting for one of his shirts to sell then was going to buy it…. Felt like telling him that if he couldn't swing $25 for a shirt he probably has no business being on Grailed and shouldn't make offers on stuff unless he's prepared to buy asap.

Ha! Sounds about it. I'm not selling anything particularly special but all the stuff I have listed is dirt cheap and get people offering $15-$20. My response is always, "After shipping and Grail fees I walk away with less than $10. I'd rather not sell it than deal with the post office for that return."
-
After Grailed takes their cut that is a bit silly. They should implement some kind of feature where if the seller accepts a bit the buyer has a day or two to pay or else the posting goes back up.
At this point I might not even sell the jeans and just keep them in hopes that I can keep losing weight and fit them again. ::) -
whoops, sorry for not buying & for asking all those questions @Broark & @BloodnThunder , hahahahaha
grailed started out well enough (no fees & large pool of buyers) & I look at it as found money when I sell something on it or ebay. The forum is great but the pool of buyers is limited. If you want a larger pool you are stuck with venturing out in the big bad world.
or just troll or ignore the people who lowball & ask a million questions . . .
-
@madmonday Agreed. And Grailed is still much better than eBay in my opinion. It's just incredible how much of a hassle dealing with some humans is. Especially when we're talking about $25.

one of the reasons it is always good to pay tithes/tribute to the forum. this is a good place, hahahahaha
slow day before a 3 day weekend so cruising the forum . . .

In the immortal words of Elizabeth Darko, Tapatalk "can go suck a fuck". That shitty, shitty app has totally broken the forum on my mobile.
I went to open this in tapatalk and got that bullshit message also.

@adam313:
Why do you use tapatalk?
I browse the forum on my iPhone in safari.
Firstly because the posting of photo's is very user friendly and convenient, secondly the tapatalk graphical interface is much easier on the eye on an iPhone. Finally the notification system.
There are lots of other reasons too. At the end of the day it boils down to the fact that when it works tapatalk is fully integrated with iOS. The forum is still based on a table top format in Safari and is not.

The phrase, "so good". Look on certain brand's social media accounts and it's just a stream of so good's in the comments.
