IH-666S-PD - Indigo 14oz Money Denim Slim Cut
-
Since I'm at home with post-flu, I had time to experiment with hemming's spare parts of my yenim.
So, last night I soaked one of them (very hot soak!). In the morning the denim piece had finally dried and … it was amazing! The fabric gained a very different texture, soft and, somehow, realaxed. But, at the same time, it remains tough. Hard to describe, never seen anything like this. If I were blind and I were to judge only by touching, I say slubby.
(Paps claims that she can feel the paper inside)I think that in the next few days my 66S-PD will have a good soak.
@Giles at what stage of production problems have occurred? weaving? cutting and sewing jeans?
-
@georgeel - it was the weaving of the denim, the looms kept stopping and every time that happened it created an imperfect area (line) of denim, and often these stoppages repeated after a short time so the perfect denim in between was not long enough to create a pair of jeans. Hope this makes sense!

I'm sure it's too late now, but what happened with those pieces of denim? Between Haraki, Giles, and everyone on this forum, perhaps we could brainstorm an idea to create something out of this denim. Hats, shoes, maybe some type of collaboration item with a leather goods company like wallets or something. Guitar straps! I'd love an IH guitar strap.

In for guitar strap. Great minds n all…

Looks like a very comfy fit. And don't apologize for the socks, they're great.

I like the Souldier idea. Since they're based in Chicago, you could even bring Horween into the collaboration for the leather strap ends.

@QuantumMechanic that looks like a perfect fit!

@Jett129 get one, but I am partial to all of the buffalo checks!
@kevypf597 thanks, they're perfect. Hope I don't lose any length after a wash. They are so comfortable right out of the blue bag!

Loving the really dark face on these.
