I own standard 666s non vintage .
My 666 is sitting o shelf due to 25oz getting all the attention. My question , is this color different enough to own standard 666s and 666s vintage ? I just don't want two identical colors indigoSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes, absolutely IMO. Two completely different animals and two different shades of Indigo. IH really nailed it capturing a vintage look with these IMO. The hue of the Indigo just has that vintage look.
Can you tell me if yours length shrink after soak or wash? Trying to make up my mind on hems if I get this denim.

those look fucking great @Giles.

WOW.
I just gave mine their first wash and I was surprised at the amount of evo. This denim rules.

Pics after one wash. I washed these together with my 14oz and 25oz 666's, all inside out with a good amount of agitation. No noticeable difference on the other two pair, but these lightened up a bit and you can see a couple of marks on the thighs from the wash, I'm assuming because of the rougher denim rubbing against itself during the agitation. As is obvious from Giles's pair, this is a great denim for fast fades, I've worn mine no more than 20 times.

Sorry, I can't stop taking pictures of these.

^Totally understand, it's wonderful denim. Drops indigo like the UHR, hairy and crunchy to boot. I normally treat new pairs nicely as they are my work trousers in a semi-casual environment but I'm considering just trashing these to see what happens. The evo would be fantastic.

I have a feeling the evo will be fantastic regardless. I swear this denim has more character every time I look at it.

I have both, I'm waiting for it to really warm up here so I can do some experimenting, which I may be able to do this week actually as it's getting pretty warm today. I can tell you that these breathe more than the 14oz, but @manufc10 has said that he thinks the 14oz might be a bit cooler.
-
Hi guys! How do you think these jeans for the summer or take 14oz? In the summer I have 15-25 degrees Celsius
Yeah like @xtcclassic said, IMO the 14oz are still a bit cooler than the 18oz. The 18oz do seem to be more breathable but I think just that extra weight with the 4oz difference still makes them warmer IMO. I experimented a bit with it over the past few weeks as we were already flirting with 100 degrees F in AZ. FWIW AZ is a dry heat. Temps have dropped back down lately though so I'm back to the 18oz until the miserable summer hits.
