@neph93 for reference, in those pics I am wearing a 634 cut with an approximate 10" hem. The hems are a bit snug in my 666s (cuffing them seems to give a bit more clearance, but I can't decide if I like these with cuffed denim or not as I am not a huge "cuff" guy), so your point is well made regarding a narrower hem with these boots.
I actually prefer a boot cut with snugger thigh and wider hem. 634s are the closest cut IH has to that in the XHS (my all time favorite fabric), so IMHO, the hem of the 634 really works well with this particular boot build. That being said, its only my opinion and my experience with my style as I have seen others pull off a narrow hem with this kind of boot brilliantly

@Giles any idea on what should be done as far as treating these? I have read a lot of varying opinions on the internet about treating roughout, so I am curious as to what your suggestion would be.
Well done on these by the way. My favorites pull-ons ever and I've only had them a few days.

The only thing I've heard consistently from bootmakers is to occasionally brush them off with a suede brush or something similar. That's just to get rid of some of the dust and dirt, really. I know a guy who has worn the same pair of rough out boots most days for probably a decade and I'm not even sure he takes that much care with them.

Its pretty easy, if you wanna keep the rough, brush it from time to time. As Chris said, a suede brush does the trick (mostly they are brass, sometimes rubber, sometimes both). If you don't mind, that it will flat over the time, don't to anything at all. Wesco does use excellent leather that imo can stand ignoring it…

So I am absolutely in love with these boots. I have worn them as my primary boot for just about two weeks and my only regret is that I didn't grab them when they were first released last October. I remember looking at them right after they went live going back and for and back and forth, but there were a whole slew of UHF I was going to be picking up, so I decided to pass as I was not short on footwear.
Furthermore, I had a custom pair of Nick's boots coming (which they Fecked up…twice - They ended up giving me the final pair they screwed up, almost a year after my original order and even then I ended up selling them because they weren't what I wanted). Plus, these were pull-ons, and I really have not been into pull-ons in years as they always just seemed to no fit me quite right.
Anyways, my size came and went, and I visited the page many times to oogle over the pics. I decided I had made a mistaking in letting these pass me by and that I would snag a pair as soon as the restock landed.
As I mentioned, I love them. The fit is great - I'm 11D in RWs, Vibergs, Nick's, and White's and found these to be a tad snug, but not uncomfortable at all. The snugness works well with the PO style of boot. I prefer a slightly taller heel (I always add an extra lift when ordering custom pairs), and these have just that with tapered/cuban style that I think looks just brilliant. As mentioned previously, the heel cap is a bit thin and I will likely have redone before too long, but it does provide a needed balance to the boot. Furthermore, I love the half sole - for some reason I absolutely detest the look of a full rubber sole that runs into the heel stack - which would be exacerbated with the light color of the boot. The double sole provides for some additional insulation and comfort when walking given the extra heel height.
I also think the toe shape is spot on. I am not a huge fan of pointy boots (ie cowboy boots, packers, etc) and this toe shape is perfectly rounded with just the right amount of toe bump. Per my usual preference these have the double stitch down, which always looks and functions great. The color is perfect as well and I love that you don't see too many boots this light out there, and it also provides for some nice evo opportunity.
I am still experiencing some heel slippage, nothing grotesque or out of the ordinary, but due to the double soles, it may take longer than normal to remedy given the thickness of that area of the boot.
This boot reminds of a crossover between a White's semi-dress and a traditional western style boot...and I love it. If you are on the fence, I would jump off an pick these up.

I especially wanted a thin heel rubber so that the heel as a whole consisted of more leather. But it ended up being thinner than I originally intended….
Giles, I tore through the heel rubber pretty quickly, so I had them replaced with a thicker 10cm piece. We see how this works out.

@Irrku Paska what brand did you use? Did you get a thicker half sole too?
They look great!
@Dstauffer they are SVIG if that says anything to you … didn't have to change the sole.

@Irkku Paska well done, it’s looking good, I’m going to do the same with my pair.
