I actually make the 70s even comfier. I use an old pair of Nike Lunarlon insoles I have been rocking for…jeez at least 3 years and they are still going and comfy! They make my 70s ridiculous comfy and my feet fit perfectly fine in the shoes still.
Wish I could buy lunarlon insoles...I usually keep insoles that are of higher quality from older shoes. Glad I kept them from my Nike SB Koston shoes from years past.

"CTAS pro" Rocket!!
I find them to be more comfy then the 70's but they dont look or feel as quality of a build as the 70's do -
you know that you can buy Chucks with Lunarlon insoles, don't you?. Also the once from the Converse skate series CONS, come with Lunarlon insoles…
I know, I don't like the Chuck 2 though. The CTAS pro are nice, but like the 70 more. I don't want to buy a shoe just for the insole haha.
There is one website that sells the converse lunarlon insoles, but $37!!! That is half the price of a pair of shoes that come with them…I could see like $20 max, but $37...jeez.

The 70's are just an overall higher quality pair of Converse. Better materials and better construction. Everything from the canvas to the laces to the eyelets are thicker and more durable. Also much more cushioning and much more comfortable than a "normal" pair of Chucks as stated above.
You betcha!
new black '70s vs. used standard Chucks
Currently '70s (from left to right) -> Black, Deep Emerald, Branch, Wild Dove, Parchment … (more to come)

Nice little touch in the 70's.

The Wild Doves are my current favourites. So versatile and comfy!
Funny, the wild doves are my least favorite. Had them for about a few years and they still look brand new. Branch are my current.faves.

I'm glad I grabbed two future pairs of the denim 70s. The 70 range has a decent color assortment, but the denim has the red line instead of the standard black. I think it gives an extra touch in the looks department.
Be killer if they did a double indigo duck version, but that will only be a dream….

Is the sizing the same on the 70's as the old made in USA chucks?
