WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
Nice! What are the dimensions on the joints? And are you building stairs?
Esher is very nice and well to do. I Spent pretty much all my youth in Guildford as Woking was too depressing.
Where did you work in Guildford?
-
Esher and I didn't get on. I was a a dirty leftist punk down from Liverpool and it was as bad a match as you could get.
I worked as a care provider for children with extreme physical disabilities in the Haslemere/Grayshott area and Guildford was our regular day trip destination. The work was great and I liked Guildford a lot. Grayshott and Haslemere combined with Esher turned me off small town England for life.

Test area for finishing the paint on the helmet. The hole and dark spot is for my snap rivet at the bottom back of the helmet.

Not easy work, and deeply needed. Genuine respect for this.

Finally done my first serious paint job. Not perfect, but very happy
-
More progress upgrading the helmet. Leather washers out of sample pieces from Alexander Leather.

@neph93 It's a modular synthesiser I'm slowly building and spending far too much money on.
Yeah, the Turing machine is based on his algorithm for his original machine. It just puts out random voltages which can be locked into a sequence of varying length and pitch which I've been running through a quantizer that forces the randomness into a musical scale. Wish I understood the mathematics involved but I'd just make myself feel bad if I tried.
Just looked up that Neuromancer novel… looks interesting! I'll have to add it to my ever growing list.
