IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
I soaked it a couple of days ago, lt it dry until I put it on this morning, and I went WOW. This is the best fabric, so freaking stiff, the blue is so deep and dark. It is very elegant, no need for an OD'ing. I still rank the SR's a shade above because the weight is so impressive.
The lined pockets show an attention to detail I just love.
What's surprising is that the 34 waist is as snug as my 32 SR's. I'm sure it will stretch but it is definitely not a 34…
In any case, I'm curious to see how this one will age. Should be wonderful.
Beautiful, thank you so much Haraki and IH crew.

666s –-----
1hr hotsoak with a piece of wood for minimal waist shinkage
then…
Now got to go to the taylor for a proper hemming. Still hesitating for a second soak.
As usual, G. was super helpful/patient. Great jean, great service . Thank you !

Thanks for the close-ups beats. You can see that this fabric is really special, much more slubby and hairy than on the regular 21 oz.

It's ok
My Gf's pair r the same. There won't be any problems. -
as my 666 arrived, I missed that bartack, too.
after twelve days of wear I noticed this:
one seam has loosened in the crotch… disappoining.
but it doesen't matter, just took a needle and stitched that together. now it's rugged again. -
This is how my friend Sulu described his new 666s jeans to the local newspaper…
"Iron Heart Jeans
These are a 40th Birthday present from my very good friend Hemi Pou. These are premium Japanese denim jeans and for denim aficionados there is nothing else. Wearing and breaking in a brand new pair of these is akin to making unconditional and glorious love to a virgin. Apparently."
... he is a little disturbed!

Is it too late to redesign the forum tee?

Iron Heart will not fall apart, at all. i created a little tear on my 634s-b and the jeans have had that now going on a month or so, no damage really done thus far. will fix it later perhaps if it becomes a problem. anywhoo, glad you repaired them yourself, real men use needles and thread.
