Dainite, absolutely.
As you've pointed out, it gives you a sleeker option. As rocket pointed out, if you don't like the Dainite, you can resole down the road.
And that Vibram sole looks, um, very comfortable.

@Qinhan I have the Dainite sole on a couple pair and I love them. The boots are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Anytime I travel and know I'm going to be walking a lot they are my first choice.

@Qinhan
I own the kudu service boot in Dainite and the nat cxl service boot in a Christy sole and love them both for their different roles.
Def glad I ventured outside my comfort zone with the Christy's, as they work so well in a casual setting and feel like sneakers, where as sometimes I feel the kudu and Dainite look more uppity and ill matched in certain circles (also due to the shiny nature of the leather). -

@Dishelveled Those scout boots are awesome. Unfortunately I couldn't make the 1035 last work for me. If only they came on the 2030…
An update to my last post in this thread:
After much consideration, I ended up going with a pair of Kudu Service Boots from Viberg directly. The colour of the leather is hard to capture in photos but is sort of a deep, chocolate brown with some red undertones that come out when in direct sunlight as shown in the following photos. In regular light they look more like a dark brown. The leather also has a very pleasing pebbling to it, which I quite like. I was initially hesitant about the Dainite sole due to comfort issues but, having now worn them for a bit, they seem super comfy and I'm not sure what I was worried about.
Thanks very much for everyone that offered their opinion and to @Dishelveled specifically for taking the time to answer all my PM'ed questions.
