Could not have timed the move to San Antonio better.
Of course, we're supposed to close on the sale of the old house on Thursday, so that might get pushed back. But things here in SA are not bad at all (yet?). I'm worried about friends and family in Houston, though. And parts of the coast are going to be well and truly f*cked.

Love the Picos,
hiked there three times!Once, after a days hike, we had to climb down the Fuente De wall because the cable car guys refused to take our dog on board.
I had to throw away my hiking boots after that.
Enjoy our vacation!

I'm sure most have seen how badly Houston and the surrounding area has been devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Here is a list I found of various ways to help: https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=content.view&cpid=5239&utm_content=bufferbc14e&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Didn't know where a good place to post this would be, but it is definitely random, so here it goes (From my FB page)

IT professionals:Through my digging and research, I just found that CompTIA is doing beta testing for the next Cloud+ exam. The first 800 people to sign up for it gets to take the exam for only $50 (Full price would be $294). I just signed up for it, with a test date of 3 October 2017....

There ARE some caveats, but nothing too wacky:
*Pass/fail information will not be available until Q1 2018; candidates will be notified. Only a numbered score is issued at the end of the beta exam. Exam objectives will not appear in the beta exam results.
*Note: Candidates who successfully complete the beta exam will earn CE credits just like the regular exam. Please note that the final number of CEU credits awarded for the new exam will not be determined until the release of the exam but it will equal at least as many as the current version.
**When you go to the PeasonVUE website to schedule your exam, you will not see the beta version listed with the available exams. Manually search for the beta exam number (CV1-002), and you can then select it.
