@sabergirl @mikebarhoot @Jett129 Thank you, thank you
A word about the fit. These are the sample pair and they came up slim for a pair of 634's (12.9" on the thigh of a W34) which suits my preferences just fine, but in practice they fit more like a generous 666. Giles is having the production run tweaked so the come up like 634's should.
Couple more notes on the denim; it has a seriously luxurious quality about it. It feels and looks high end (even for an already high end product). The tonal stitching definitely contributes to that effect and I'm a big fan, but I wonder how it would be with a darker bronze or copper colour contrast stitching as opposed to the gold that often is used? Could be good…
As a further testament to how nice the denim is, my poor, long suffering wife, who ages ago gave up trying to differentiate between my indigo jeans, now only ever comments on cut. With these however she was very taken by the denim. She said they looked "unique" and "very classy". High praise indeed

@Giles - any jackets planned in that new black/brown denim? Would love something other than a Type III, but I get it if they sell best.
-
@Jett129 I think that's a different superblack and non-fading denim (and maybe 18oz from what I remember?). But I could def be wrong.

This denim is basically the IH flagship 21oz, but black and beige instead of indigo and white.

Oh dear.
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, PLEASE DONT MAKE THESE IN THE 666 CUT.
(edit… please make these in the 666 cut with tonal stitching. just give me a year lol. )
Seriously, this denim looks amazing.
