Spent Saturday afternoon at a beer festival for Aslin's 2nd anniversary. There were about 30-40 gust breweries pouring beers. I was wearing my favorite Iron Heart ss shirt. Every time I went up for a beer they would look at my shirt and not charge for the beer. Finally one of the Brewers asked if I worked for Iron Heart. I said no just a big fan of their clothes. He was confused. Turns out Iron Heart Canning is the mobile canning company a lot of the breweries use. Learned something new and got a lot of free beers, thanks to Iron Heart.

I sold a very expensive watch to a newish buyer on WUS. I received funds and send it overnight via Express. Express turned up a day late and the little cock says he didnt have time to pick up the package. 5 days go by and it got sent back to me. It was 109$ to ship the fecking watch and although I got 67$ back, I was out the cost of insurance.
I ended up giving the douche his money back. Although I should have passed on the $42 of insurance cost to him, I decided my rep on WUS was worth more. So I'm out $40, almost 10 days of time, plus the risk of shipment all because some asshole "didnt have any time".Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you not 'have time' to go to the post office to pick up a really expensive watch you ordered? You'd think he might have planned for that in one of the five days he had to drag himself down to the post office and pick it up.

Well, a full 180° from the awesome weekend in Gosport…
Currently, I've been waiting 5.5hrs for Maddy at the airport. She's stuck at immigration, and it seems as though they will deny her entry.
She went back to Japan to get some documents for her long stay visa, and so we can start her Green Card process, and now she can't get back in, because she "over stayed" her last visa...
When we went to Mallorca for our birthday vacation in April, the immigration officer told us in plain terms that Japanese get a visa on arrival that is good for 6 months after entry. Well, we are finding out today that is simply untrue. The incompetent bastard also stamped her in as a foreign student, for some strange reason, which is only making it all that much more difficult.
As of now it's not looking good, but we're still waiting for the final determination. What I fear most now is that There will be a penalty, and she will be ineligible for entry for an extended period of time. If that's the case, it's time to job hunt again in either the States or Japan.

That's happened to me once. I had left the US with an expired work visa (as the renewal was being processed by my employer at the time), and they refused re-entry. Normally they have a process by which the person signs a form saying they renounce requesting entry, which allows the US immigration to send the person back without marking them as having been refused entry. It's wacky but it's better than to be forever branded as such.
