It's not ideal, but we've kinda got a handle on it.
I have a great friend in Okinawa that has a "Bed & Breakfast" that he will shut down to allow her to just live there for as long as she needs, and he also has a spare vehicle that she will be able to use at her leisure.
I've got a couple of avenues/options on how we will head off the visa issue, but either way it shouldn't take more than a couple months.
I'll be sure to keep everyone posted, and once again, thanks for all of the kind words.

I'm glad to see you were able to work out a semi-reasonable solution to the visa snafu, @UnTucked. Immigration is imo a very silly process in most of the world.

Scammers… these people kill me.
I listed a car for sale yesterday on various online listing sites and got (what sounded like) an inquiry not sent my an idiot.
After sending photos, I got the "ok, do you have the title in hand? I'm out of country and can only pay through cash.me - please make an account and send me your name. Once the payment clears I will arrange picking up the car for my wife's birthday. Please hurry as im ready to proceed now"
Then I go and send all the contact info he gave me to the Fraud department of the listing site and and the fraud dept dosnt write back and won't pick up the phone.

Hope it's going well and wasn't too serious a procedure. I hazily remember badly dislocating my shoulder a few years ago. Opium-based pain killers for the win!

Just got a call from Tommy's school, he's been smacked in the nose by a 15/16 year old…..Tommy is 11. Looks like I'll be paying a visit tomorrow

that's messed up. This is one of those things I fear will happen to my boy when he gets older. He asked me what a bully was a couple weeks ago and I told him it was somebody that picks on you because you're different (from them). I might have to enroll him in a martial arts class, or boxing. Anyway, hope the older boy gets disciplined.

Pam is currently arguing with the school, who's line is "it may have been an accident", Tommy and three of his friends say the kid ran past, punched Tom on the way and carried on running.
My take on it is that if the school won't deal with it, and it happens again, I will find out who the kid is and where he lives and whatever he does to Tommy I will do to his dad twice as bad until it stops.
Tommy has haemophilia, so a blow to the head can be a big deal.
I'm currently raging if anyone hasn't guessed.
